If you’ve been trying to update your i Phone, i Pad, or i Pod touch to the newly released i OS 5, you might have encountered the error message saying that you’re device could not be restored because an “internal error occurred.” In most cases, you’ll get the “3004” error message, too. The same applies if you are getting Error 3200, or any other error for that matter. If that’s not the case, well, then hit that refresh button over and over again until it works!
Apple’s servers are getting slammed with thousands of people trying to do the exact same thing as you… That is if you can live without i OS 5 for a few more hours, of course.
An error occurred while applying security settings. This could be a problem with the package, or a problem connecting to a domain controller on the network.
For good reason, it is not recommended to disable the UAC.
The error is also shown in the event log, as Event ID: 1024 and with error code 1603.
The Setup Wizard for Update Rollup fails with the error “ended prematurely”.
It has been the same issue for Update Rollups for both Exchange 2007 and Exchange 2010.
